Using our proprietary Blue Suite technology, we offer a fully digital workflow that allows clients across Australia to manage their projects remotely, with complete visibility and control over every detail, including foam layouts, board specifications, and custom etching designs.
How Our Design and Manufacturing Process Works
Step 1
Capture
The process begins with capturing photographs of your tools and equipment. Using the BlueMobile AUS app, clients can photograph each item directly on a blank sheet of white A4 sized paper. For those who prefer, equipment can also be sent to us for professional scanning.
Step 2
Upload
Once captured, images and project specifications are uploaded through the BlueMobile AUS app into our Blue Manager system. This includes foam dimensions, thickness, colour preferences, laser etching requests, and any requirements for cases or toolboxes. Having all project information in one place ensures our design team can access it immediately, keeping the workflow smooth and transparent.
Step 3
Design
With the uploaded images and specifications, our design team creates a 2D model of your foam inserts. Clients can review the design and provide feedback digitally through the app, ensuring the final product meets every requirement before manufacturing begins.

Step 4
Approve
Clients can track progress, request changes, and approve final designs through the app. This digital approval process keeps communication clear and allows clients to stay involved at every stage, ensuring the product meets expectations.
Step 5
Manufacture
After approval, OSAAP Australia will manufacture your custom foam inserts, including laser etching where requested, and deliver them directly to your facility. Our project management system ensures each product is made to specification and delivered on time, ready to be installed in cases, toolboxes, or storage solutions.
Light Panels
While the BlueMobile AUS app is ideal for scanning most equipment using a simple sheet of paper, some tools are too large or too numerous to capture this way. In these cases, OSAAP Australia can provide light panels and a camera for clients to use. These larger photographic setups allow multiple items to be captured at once, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Light panels are used during the Capture stage of our process. Once the equipment is photographed using the light panel and camera, the images are uploaded into our Blue Manager system, just like with the app. This ensures that even large or complex projects can be managed digitally and seamlessly, without compromising on precision.
Kitting Service: Complete Tool Organisation
While OSAAP Australia does not sell tools, we can also provide a comprehensive kitting service for clients who send their equipment to us.
If you send us your tools, we can help turn your collection into a fully organised kit. This includes advising on an appropriate Pelican case or toolbox based on your requirements, designing and manufacturing the foam inserts, assembling the foam into the case, and packing in your tools.
The kitting service follows the same streamlined process — capture, upload, design, approve, manufacture — with an additional consultation to ensure the case selection perfectly meets your needs, making tool organisation simple, precise, and professional.
