Our Story
OSAAP Australia was established in 2022 in collaboration with OSAAP America, bringing decades of proven global tool control expertise to the Australian market. Built on a strong foundation of precision, accountability and safety, the Australian business was created to support industries where tool control, asset visibility and risk reduction are critical to operational performance.
In 2023, Carl Quarterman took ownership of OSAAP Australia, marking a new phase of growth focused on local capability, customer-led innovation and long-term partnerships. Under Carl’s leadership, the business has continued to evolve, strengthening its manufacturing capability through a strategic partnership with Queensland Gaskets.
Founded in 1953, Queensland Gaskets is an Australian-owned manufacturer specialising in high-quality industrial gaskets and sealing solutions. With advanced in-house technologies including 5-axis waterjet cutting, CNC routers, CNC knife and laser cutting systems, the partnership enables OSAAP Australia to deliver highly precise, custom-manufactured toolkit solutions at scale. This collaboration brings together OSAAP’s specialised design and tool control expertise with proven Australian manufacturing, supporting industries such as defence, mining, healthcare, construction and transport.
In 2024, OSAAP Australia was recognised with a Special Mention in the Micro Business Award category at Brisbane’s Lord Mayor’s Business Awards. This acknowledgement highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence and measurable impact, reinforcing its position as a trusted Australian provider of advanced tool control and asset management solutions.

An all-in-one project management tool that allows clients to scan equipment, upload specifications, create projects, request changes, review designs, and approve products — all in one place.
Deployable Imaging Technology
Clients can scan and photograph their own equipment using the app, allowing critical tools to remain on-site rather than shipping to us for scanning.
Centralised Project Management
All designs are securely stored within our system and retained indefinitely. Clients can access current and past product designs at any time, making updates, replacements, and future transitions smooth and straightforward.
