Backer boards are available in 3mm or 6mm thickness and can be custom cut to any size to perfectly fit your foam boards, no matter the shape or dimensions. They are long-lasting, with ABS boards able to withstand over 15 years of use in demanding industrial environments.
While laser etching is possible, it’s not commonly applied since backer boards are mounted behind the foam and generally not visible.

During the design phase, our team will advise whether a backer board is recommended based on the size and intended use of your foam board. Once your foam shadow board is manufactured and laser-cut, the backer board is bonded to the back, giving the board extra strength and stability.
